The Yacht: El Regalo
We purchsed El Regalo in December of 2006, having never sailed her. We were confident with the blue water build of the Tayana and satisfied that Charles and Teresa had outfitted the boat with the best.
Tayana Yachts are constructed at the Ta Yang Yacht Building Company, Ltd. in Kaohsiung Hsien, Taiwan. Ta Yang (meaning "big ocean" in Mandarin) has manufactured semi-custom cruising yachts since 1973. Tayana yachts leads the worldwide yachting industry for custom interiors and joinery, giving customers a choice in living space setup. Designs for the yachts are rendered via Tayana's Computer-Aided Design department, and several well-known naval architects have provided design work.
